Kettal Zigzag is a pair of accessories by Emiliana Design Studio: a garden vase and a round pouf. The vase combines rope with aluminum, and the pouf pairs rope with outdoor fabrics. They come from the decor range Kettal added so that a terrace furnished with luxury outdoor furniture also has the smaller objects that make it feel lived in.

objects for the gaps
Kettal's reasoning is that a space starts to feel inhabited through the objects placed in it. Sofas and tables fix the layout, yet a planter by the steps or a pouf at the end of a lounge fills the gaps between them. Emiliana Design Studio drew Zigzag for exactly those spots, as part of a small Kettal line of exterior decoration rather than seating.
The garden vase is made of rope and aluminum. The metal will not corrode, which matters for a container that sees watering and wet soil all summer, and the rope gives it the same hand-worked texture as the woven seating in other Kettal outdoor furniture families. Used as a Kettal Zigzag planter, it brings greenery to a corner of the terrace or to either side of an entrance.
The round garden pouf pairs rope with outdoor textiles. Its material list names Chenilletex fabric, mass-dyed acrylic fabric and Porotex fabric. Mass-dyed acrylic carries its color right through the fiber, so strong sun fades it far more slowly than a printed cloth. In use the pouf can be a footrest, a low extra seat or a steady surface for a tray of drinks.
With two pieces, Zigzag is an addition to a terrace, not a full set. A pair of vases can frame a doorway or the top of a garden stair, and one or two poufs round out a lounge from any Kettal family. Both are priced on request, and a single quote can cover them together with the seating they will sit beside.
