The idea is a familiar chair shape made light. Thin aluminum tubes draw the outline, and cord is woven across the seat and back, which gives each chair a handmade look closer to a basket than to a machine part. The Kettal Net dining chair stacks, a real help when a table has to be cleared for an event or the set goes inside for the winter.

Net Club arrived in 2021 as the lounge version. It sits low, adds armrests and takes a cushion in mass-dyed acrylic fabric, whose color goes all the way through the fiber and fades slowly in sun. Kettal lists it as stackable too, so a pair can be put away together at the end of the season. It makes a good reading chair beside a planter or a hedge.

Both materials suit wet weather. Aluminum does not rust, and an open cord weave lets rain run through instead of pooling on the seat. The square garden table comes with a top in A-grade teak or in stone, with aluminum in the frame, so the set can lean warmer or cooler depending on the paving, the planting and the light around it.

With only three pieces, Net is easy to plan. A few chairs around the square table fill a small dining corner, and two club chairs side by side make a spot for morning coffee.
